Come witness how our beer is brewed, and inspect samples of our ingredients. We are honest to tradition and proud to show off our facilities. We believe in the value of an open brew house, and are happy to share our secrets about making great beer with you. Afterwards, why not enjoy a cool Otaru Beer in our bar, while chatting with our Braumaster. 
Public Tours of the Otaru Beer Zenibako Brewery are available by appointment only. Another possibility to tour our facility is to come to the brewery for one of our "Seasonal Beer Tours" and sample a seasonal beer and experience a brewery tour together at the same time! Approximately every two months Otaru Beer hosts a Seasonal Beer Tour where the guests have a chance to experience all kinds of fun and games including brewing your own beer. Make sure to check out the Otaru Beer Event Calendar for more details of our various special brewery events throughout the year!
- Reservations may be made every weekday (M-F) from 10:00 - 17:00. Please call the Otaru Beer Zenibako Brewery at 0134-61-2280
- Tours beginning from 10:00 until 18:00 (Reservations Required)
- Each tour requires at least four (4) people up to maximum of forty (40) people per group
Tour Types:
- Basic Tour: Brewery Tour with a Simple Tasting (90 minutes)
- ¥800 per person (Elementary age children or younger, free)
- Groups with members of more than 15 persons - ¥600
- Lunch Tour: Brewery Tour with Meal and Tasting (150 Minutes)
- ¥2,300 per person (Each guests only allowed up to 20 beers)
- Meal: Roast Chicken, Sausage, Ham, German Bread
- Dinner Tour: Brewery Tour with Meal and Tasting
- ¥3,300 per person (Each guests only allowed up to 20 beers)
- Meal: Roast Chicken, Sausage, Ham, Salad, Cheese, German Bread and other goodies.
Please Do Not Forget:
- All tours (Basic and Tours with Food) require reservations.
- The Basic Tour requires a minimum of 3 days advanced notice.
- Tours with food require a minimum of 7 days advanced notice.
- Areas within the brewery are very cold, so please make sure you dress appropriately or bring a jacket just in case.
- If you are coming by car for a tour, confirmation of a designated driver will be required. No beer will be available for that person, however, other non-alcoholic drinks will be made available.
- Holders of Otaru Beer Member's Cards or Community Cards have other special privileges available to them and should confirm these when making their reservations with Otaru Beer Zenibako Brewery.
