Helles Bock

"Helles Bock Beer" May 30th (Sat) • 31st (Sun) • June 6th (Sat) • 7th (Sun)

This time our Seasonal Beer will be a Helles Bock Beer.  This will be the first time in five years that we have produced the Helles Bock Beer.  This beer has a deep golden color with an alcohol content of approximately 8%.  The beer is a very deeply flavored beer.  It has a very malty character that is fairly forward hopping of aroma hops to balance the sweetness of the stong beer. This beer was originally produced in Ainbech for export to other areas. Another reason for the high Alcohol and hop content was it provided a way to protect the beer from spoiling during it's long transport to other areas for sale.
